Visiting Naval Network Warfare Command

Rental Vehicle Access to Naval Amphibious Base 

This policy and guidance ONLY applies for Force Protection Condition ALPHA (FPCON ALPHA) and no others unless specifically authorized by NAVPHIBASE LCREEK Security Officer (SECO) or Installation Commander (IC). 

1. The driver must present a valid driver’s license. 

2. The driver must present a valid Department of Defense Common Access Card (CAC), Dependent or Retired Identification Card or other appropriate credentials authorized by the IC. 

3. The driver must present a current Rental Agreement in the operator’s name. 

4. Vehicle Safety Inspection must be valid (if applicable for the state of registration). 

Once all items have been inspected by the Gate Sentry, the Rental Agreement will be folded and placed on the dashboard of the driver’s side to display the name of the lease holder. 

In the event the name can not be seen clearly, the Sentry will clearly print lease holders name at the top of the agreement. 

Visitor Clearance 

• NETWARCOM is a controlled access facility.  In order to access NETWARCOM spaces your sponsor must submit your clearance information in advance of your visit.  Please contact your sponsor to provide that information several days in advance of your visit to ensure that you will be able to accomplish your mission at NETWARCOM.

Driving Directions to NETWARCOM 

·        From Norfolk Int'l Airport

Exit Airport and turn right at stop light onto Azalea Garden Road.  Continue to stop light at Little Creek Road and turn right.  Little Creek Road ends at the entrance to Gate 1 at Shore Drive.  Enter through Gate 1 and proceed to 1st stop light.  Turn right and proceed one block to Guadalcanal Road on the left.  Turn left onto Guadalcanal Road and NETWARCOM is located in building 1265 on the right.

·        From Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel

Follow I-64 to Little Creek Road Exit 276A on right.  Merge into left lane and turn left at the stop light.  Upon exiting turn left at stop light.  Turn left onto Little Creek Road at the next stop light.  Little Creek Road ends at the entrance to Gate 1 at Shore Drive.  Enter through Gate 1 and proceed to the 1st stop light.  Turn right and proceed one block to Guadalcanal Road on the left.  Turn left onto Guadalcanal Road and NETWARCOM is located in building 1265 on the right.

·        From Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Downtown Norfolk

Follow I-64 to North Hampton Blvd. Exit 282 exit on the right.  Merge into left lane and continue straight for 1.3 miles (4 stop lights) to Diamond Springs Road.  Turn left onto Diamond Springs Road.  Diamond Springs Road ends at Shore Drive.  Turn left on Shore Drive.  Turn right into the access lane to Gate 1 just prior to the stop light at Little Creek Road.  Enter through Gate 1 and proceed to the 1st stop light.  Turn right and proceed one block to Guadalcanal Road on the left.  Turn left onto Guadalcanal Road and NETWARCOM is located in building 1265 on the right.
